I read the book with my 7 year old son – here’s what he had to say about it:

“I really enjoyed reading about the Queen. Learning about her as a child was very interesting. I have seen the Crown Jewels and liked reading about them in the book. I did not know that she has owned so many corgis. The book was interesting and fun to read.”

I thought it was well written and explains difficult constitutional concepts well. I shall be looking to read more of the series with him. I’ve recommended it to his school too.
