If you are looking for a special way to promote your school, or if your school is approaching a significant anniversary or event, commissioning a school history could be the answer.
Our school histories are beautifully presented and are the ideal gift, keepsake or fundraiser for pupils both past and present.
We have been publishing histories of some of our greatest schools for over quarter of a century, and have all the publishing expertise required to bring such a project to fruition. Whether it is a coffee table style glossy publication, or more of a factual history, we can work with you to produce the book you want. Recent projects include Royal High School Bath, Westonbirt Schools, Godstowe, Cheam, Warwick School, Beechwood Sacred Heart School, Cranbrook School and many others.

Help with marketing your book
You may wonder how you are going to publicise the book once it has been printed. We can help you with that too. We can host a landing page on our website to allow those with the web page link to order or pre-order the book. The link to this page can be promoted through emails from your school to your contacts, on a Facebook or Twitter post or on your own website.
Once on the landing page visitors can read about the book, click a link to an order form and fill in their details. We will collate this information and send to you to arrange collection or dispatch of the books.
Take a look at the landing page we are hosting for Royal High School Bath HERE. Before the launch event an order form was available for pre publication orders.
We can also help with printed leaflets and display boards to promote the book via post or at events.

What can I have in my book?
A history of the school building
The origins of the building, when it was built, the architect, previous residents – all building both new and old have a story behind them.
The school founders
How did you school come to be? Who started your school? A wealthy philanthropist, a religious order or a charitable organisation?
Landmarks during the school’s history. The outbreak of war, coronation of a monarch, head teachers through the years. These events, and many others, may have shaped your school.
Anecdotes from former pupils and staff
We all have tales to tell about our school days. Ask your alumni and past staff for their stories. And of course, stories from present pupils and staff.
What’s happening now, plans for the future – a school continues to evolve. Share your plans for the future.
Unique to your school
It’s your school and your book. We can help you plan what you want the book to be, what to put in and and we can help you market your book to your parents, pupils and alumni.
